MLOps 2022 was held in Toronto, Canada. I attended the conference virtually for $117.64, and sessions were held from June 7th through the 8th. The first day of sessions quickly justified the cost of attending virtually. All sessions will be recorded and accessible for viewing to ticket holders. An interesting item is in using the mobile app Whova. Whova notified the attendees that 44 job postings were added to let conference attendees be aware that machine learning experts and expertise are in demand. Also, within the Whova mobile app and online from a computer, I could attend sessions virtually, review recorded sessions, chat, and interact with both the presenters and conference attendees.
The virtual experience of attending MLOps 2022 was welcoming. The virtual attendance option allowed me to remain within a remote medium setting I have become accustomed to in the past years, working remotely and due to COVID. I could multi-task and focus intently on sessions of interest while remaining in the medium jump to different sessions or interests and replay sessions at my discretion.
